What length of tape should be used for gripping clubs?
Use a piece of tape the same length as the grip. A ¼” of tape will be pushed into the end of the shaft and this will ensure your grip tape doesn’t extend beyond your grip.

We recommend using HF-100 Grip Solvent. It is safer and more cost effective than other solvents.

What is the best way to remove the old tape and why is it needed?
We recommend using the Uneekscraper, especially on graphite, to avoid damaging the shaft. Using a heat gun can help soften the old tape making to easier to remove completely.

Can this tape be used to build up my grips?
Yes, but it is more cost effective to use masking tape on the inner layers and then use grip tape on the final layer.

What type of shaft materials is this tape compatible with?
This tape can be used with all shaft types.

Why won’t the tape stick to the club shaft?
In some instances, there can be residual amounts of oil or slippery containments left on the shaft that will not allow the tape adhesive to stick to the shaft. If this occurs wipe down the affected area with Denatured Alcohol.

Does this tape have a double liner?
Tape rolls have one easy release treated crepe paper liner.
Pre-Cut tape strips have two easy release liners, be sure to remove both liners from the strips during installation.

Are the tape strips scored down the center to make removal of the liner easier?
Yes, the pre-cut tape strips are scored to aid in the removal of the liner.
